Location: SoCal | Where would one search to get ballpark values for guitars? The problem is that Miles is often one of the better sources as to value. Heck, I remember asking the factory for information and being referred to Miles.
So, after you have asked your neighbor, checked to see if there are any comparable eBay auctions either make an offer or ask Miles what he wants for the guitar.
As long as it isn't an obvious joke bid (i.e., $1.50), I don't think Miles will be offended. Heck, the worst that happens is that he tells you what it is worth (at least to him) and maybe the reasons why (prototype, etc.) |

Location: Waurika OK | I bought one of Miles guitars, really did not know what to offer. Made an offer and it was less than what he wanted, but not unreasonable. He told me what he wanted, which was not unreasonable to me, so the deal was comsumated.
Miles is a nice, reasonable man. Make him an offer. |

This is a last chance if you are interested in making an offer on a guitar. I will let you know I am still undecided on a few guitars like the PF-22's and the Thunderheads that are left.
As I stated at the begining, I just wanted to reduce the collection size, not get rid of everything, especially ones that hold meaning or are a part of Ovation production history.
Anyway, thanks again. If you think you want a guitar, but don't think you'll have the funds for awhile, that's ok. I can hold it for awhile. I have plenty to choose from. |

I have received nearly 300 emails in the past week, and most have very specific subjects like "Your post on the OFC" or "Selling guitars." Gimme a break guys... :)
Could the people for who I am holding a guitars, or you are on a list for a guitar please re-send an email with ref to the guitar we are discussing as the subject. And PLEASE any new requests, please put the guitar you are interested in the Subject. Each guitar has a Reference number. "I'm interested in the Viper" does help me to know which of the 16 you might be interested in.
