Oh it's a sweetheart guitar Jim!!! So pretty and a gem to play, the neck and body size make a great combo. I must get some real pictures up for everyone.

I pick it up more and more. With that and the D-18V that I bought around the same time have kept my hands off of the Adamases for the past month or two :-)

Jim,

Both are still available. I've had a couple of inquiries for pictures recently, but no commitments.

Maybe tax refunds will get some GAS flowin. I can't believe that a limited to 100, Adamas slothead, 12 fretter doesn't draw much attention and the 1537 is such a special Ovation.

Either would make someone extremely happy!

I've had some serious inquiries, but nothing solid so far. Still available.

Offers anyone?

Come on guys. Help a guy with GAS and no job and son going off to college next fall out here!

These are really great guitars and I wouldn't be selling them if I didn't have too. Rule here is that I've spent my allowable guitar budget so anything new will have to be at the expense of what I already have.

Let's be reasonable and we can work a deal.

(climb onto the soapbox...)

Okay, we've gotten lots of new members recently. Let me just say for their benefit that these guitars (the UTE and the 1537) are without a doubt among the very best to come out of New Hartford. I've played Beggin's UTE on 2 occasions now, and now own a 1537 (courtesy of EdensHarvest). I've gone through 5 Ovations in the last year and a half, in addition to the ones I now have, and I can say with certainty that the 1537 will never leave. If I wasn't buying it's cutaway blingy cousin (the 87C) from Stephen, the UTE would be next on my list.

If any of you newer members want a truly remarkable guitar for a damn good price, contact Brad about these. You won't regret either of these guitars, and you're much better off dealing with an OFCer than you are with a complete stranger on eBay or craigslist.

Now that g8r left some room on the soapbox for me, I'd parrot what he said. When I first signed on to this crazy board, all the talk was about 1537s and Utes. It was tough to think of paying 4 figures for used guitars, especially after owning the bottom of the Ovation USA line for 30 years, but I have no regrets. The only downside is whether I am good enough for the guitars, which is a concern that gives me some motivation to remedy. These are 2 guitars that any player should be proud to own.

Well it's time to up the juice a bit on these. I should have posted pictures a while ago, but....well anyway I haven't. Here they are:

The UTE Now $1450.00

1537 Now $925.00

I hope this gives anyone on the fence something to think about.

That was easier than I thought it would be.

Thanks Wabbit for the great instructions. I used the VSO Image resizer utility you recommended.

I don't lust after every guitar in the for sale section.

"On the fence?"
"I invented the fence!"

Somebody needs to buy something from me so I can buy the 1537 (disregard the Storefront pricing).

Or maybe I just need to actually finish a project or two...
