Did you catch Huey on the capital 4th of July celebration? Maybe it was just the TV coverage - but they could've turned his mic up a bit. Other than that - he was pretty good.

Druha Trava ("Second Grass"), from the Czech Republic. If you want to hear why, their version of the "Skocna" from Smetana's "The Bartered Bride" is killer.
Because I am a technological dolt, I am unable to get you a link, so please be merciful and don't ask; I am not able to do that--just google "Druha Trava Skocna" and see what you find.
My other favorite band is the worship band from Hillsong Church in Australia; incredibly talented musicians......
(Yes, I know that's more than one, but it's a tie.)

I really want to sat Stray Cats, but it has to be Queen...

They made me want to listen to music, they made me want to play the guitar - I wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't heard them.

Tell Brian May it's his fault when you see him!

A man with impeccable taste ;) ... Thats been my answer since I was 14, and my Dad played 2112 in the car :D
My story started about the same age, and the same album too, but instead of "dad" it was mind altering substances and headphones that influenced me I think.

Alex Lifeson has always been my #1 influence on the guitar though. I can pretty much say it was those dudes that got me excited about buying an electric guitar... and for me, that's kinda where it all started.

Just one! That's hard ...
The Bear Brother's Band. Bluegrass, Jam, Folk, Blues and Rock from Northern NJ, late 1970's, they showed me the way and are now defunct.

Current favorite indie touring band:
Packway Handle Band
Oldies major touring band:
Allman Bros.
Newbies major touring band:
Robert Randolf
Major defunct band:
Tie, The Clash, The Ramones, Violent Femmes and Devo, Old and in the Way ...

I could keep going!

I saw this band as a warmup band way back when. Thought they stole the show. The headliner? Jimi Hendrix.
Back to the question. Lotta great bands mentioned that at one time or another I was heavily in to(Yes, Three Dog Night, Pink Floyd, Toto, Dregs, Stray Cats). Others like Kansas, Leroux, ZZ Top and Journey also made an impression. But to pick one alltime fave, well, uh, I guess the name says it all. Beatles.

I guess it would be hard to declare just one.

Since I have gone through full circle in my life starting with early rock-n-roll/blues, rock, then rock turned metal & I hated that direction so I turned country for a decade, got tired of that went classic rock when that came back on strong but got burned out on that fairly quickly & went back to blues.

If I could only pick one, it just may be
John Mayall, at over 70 years old still going & over 50 albums. Assembling more people in bands & recordings than anyone I know. The original Blues Breakers from Clapton to people like Peter Green (From the original Fleetwood Mac when they were a blues band & the girls came in & they turned to crap, yes my opinion)
Yeah he dosen't play guitar but has played with the finest in the business.
