As stated before I like SSBs. My Elite Special is up for sale on Ebay for the simple reason that I'm running out of room and with the collectors it's just not going to get played.
Now this 5868 might not sound as good as some of my other guitars but I will probably just use it (dare I say it) as knock about practise guitar. Something I can grab and lie on the sofa.
So it's laminated so what. I'll hang it on the wall in my front room and enjoy it's looks when it's not being played. |

I stil lthink it looks lovely and I reckon will be nicer than my Elite Special. |

If I want TONE then out comes the 1537 or other Collectors. |

Location: Brighty in Blighty | The label on these guitars say "5868" but they are not listed on the Ovation site as such, I think they are listed as Old Walnut N868.
Are these the same? |

Location: 6 String Ranch | Although when there is N as the start of the model number it usually was made for Nakao, the Japaneese distributor. Sometimes they were custom, sometimes just tweaked a little from normal production. |
