I have a '98 DR-20 with the unfortunate finish 'bubble' up by the neck base. But I just can't let go of it. It has 'guts'! Although Jim and Mike keep putting Martins in my lap, the Tacoma runs right up there with da 'M's. See ya'll, I do own other gits besides 'O's and 'A's. In fact, I actually have an '85 F-400S Tak that's a keeper also :p

OK, everyone look at the OTHER guitars here for sale. Jimbo is the best to buy from, I know because I have bought two of his "never will be sold" gits from him. :D

I wanted to snap up that parlor, but I needed to make a sale first. Wound up selling a couple of nice ones yesterday that would've enabled me to buy it, but they came in too late. Doubt my boss would understand my knocking off work several times a day to check an internet forum. Guess I'll just have to rely on luck. Congrats on getting the parlor after all.

It sounded pretty damned good. The construction was solid, and it had a great sound. Once I got ahold of Woody's Custom Elite I had no use for it anymore though. Good luck on the sale Jimbo. It's really a nice instrument for the $.

Karen is considering either the Alvarez or the Patriot, so I guess it 's all up in the air till I get a commitment.

The two Alvarez's are still up for sale with one time reduced price. 950.00 shipped for both, or will part them at 450.00 shipped for the 6 string and 500.00 shipped for the 12. These are really great sounding wood boxes with the maple bringing in the bright high end and the jumbo body reinforcing the lower tones. Anyone wanting to try out a wood box can't go wrong with either one of these. The 12 plays and sounds much like a Guild for a fraction of the price. BTW, the next one to go up may be my Martin 00-18V...
