good name, and yes it's more challenging and fun to play with other people. The music gets better.

Maybe you just need a new instrument. To relive(sic) the boredom.

I took it literally, ie, finally, they got rid of Annette and were having like an intervention. She probably took too many drugs.

I had used the name once or twice before (when John&I did guitar/piano duo gigs).
The bar-owner (on the phone) asks "what do I "bill" you as??". I said "WithoutAnnette" (I then spell-it-out for him).
Uncomfortable Dead Silence.
". . . oka-a-a-a-a-ay . . . . . .
A month later, it's up on the marquee.
It makes for good banter with which to f@ck w/the audience (an'GodKnows, we're good at THAT . . .)

Rick plays acoustic guitars, mando & sings

John plays keyboards & sings

I attempt to play acoustic guitars & sing.
(I've been forcing myself t'use the LongNeck more on songs that it'll "work" on. The "mix" of the two different guitars & piano work real well).

I'd LIKE t'be able to work this into rooms that'll pay enough for us to take on a percussionist. We've "tentatively" got one sitting-in on Fri(maybe).

When I booked the gig, I booked it as a duo for "x" amount of $'s.
When he ends up getting a 4pc. (hopefully, ripping the place up) he's gonna' want "that!".
"Unfortunately, THATS's when we start talking in the "y" category of $.

Just very "eclectic" ClassicRock tunes.
Beatles, Stones, Clapton, TalkingHeads, Doors, Floyd, Allmans, SRV, STP, Nirvana, Al Stewart, Lucinda Williams, CSN(&Y), FooFighters, Zeppelin, Creedence, SteelyDan, blah, blah, blah, . . . BarMusic.
(One of our strong points is we have a very "varied" repertoire).

Eventually, would like to start working-in some Originals . . . everything's still very "formulative".
We shall see how things Transpire . . .

Isn't it wonderful how just a few well crafted words can create such a lasting mental image.....
