Unpleasant, unloseable image.

BTW - wasn't Mr Kozak suggesting that this forum was not the place to discuss amplifiers? Has he visited THIS thread?

Sorry, Schroed. It was unconscionable of me to ignore the possible consequences. I wasn't thinking clearly, due to the devastating news we just received...

Have I told you the story about Breeze (my dog) running down, catching and then dispatching a bunny in our lot used for the neighborhood Easter egg hunt, ten minutes before the kids set about gathering the eggs?

That's the day everyone stopped referring to Breeze as, "cute".

Going back to the spa treatments, has anyone found anything better than Bromine? That's what I use in ours and, if the ph and alkaline is maintained, it's not too bad. But should the ph get a little out, MAN!, can that get strong in a hurry...it almost immediately pushes me into the third manhatten... ;)

Every time I see this thread title, I think there's a new model carbon fiber-topped guitar -- the Allergie.

Weez,
Have you tried any long term ph stabilizers? They fix ph at about 7.8 for months at a time...

should help you keep from getting stewed.

OK...found it. Spa owners do a search on the Hamilton Index. They recommend Akalinity going to 100-120, PH 7.6 to 8.2 and cutting your sanitizer to 1 part per million or with an Ozonator, maybe even 0.

I have been using it now for several months with no ill affects and my water stays pretty clear. It is a bit tough to keep the PH up that high.

I don't have an ozonator on mine but have considered putting one on. If I remember correctly, they're around $200 or so. Worth it or no?

I am not sure...first Ozonator I have had and don't know how to gauge if it is worth it or not. As for conked out ozonator's Mark, I think it is just a special UV bulb or something. Should be an easy fix.

Well, I have an answer to my "Allergy". Some sort of insect bites. My son-in-law is a PA and was up for a visit. After checking it out he said insect bites, but not sure what.

It is winter here....we don't have pet's, and it's on my arms so fleas don't seem likely. Possibly a spider in one of my shirts or coats I never saw? He said bed bugs perhaps. BED BUGS...GROSSSS. I have read up on these nasty creatures and seems they are making a resurgence, but how in the world would I get those? We don't travel a lot, stay at sleezy motels, and our house is only a few years old....

Regardless...I believe in "Better Living Through Chemistry", so the bug bombs are being fused and armed. War has been declared, and we are leaving the house for two days next week while turning it into a toxic waste site. Hope they don't mutate.

Bedbugs? ...and you let them bite? Didn't you pay attention when you were young??
