I might end up jetlagged and irrational, but I won't let the coffee pot go empty. Keith, this is very hospitable of you. If I'm too tired to remember at the time, let me thank you now.

Apart from the 300 bikies, how many are we expecting? Just in case, what sort of music do bikies like?

Remind me to stand back when Weaser and Iffy sing their songs to the bikies. I'll stick with the wild songs.

That'll be the day (ummmm, Buddy Holly) when I sing! Besides, that Aussie accent would just captivate the 'leathers'!
But I do want to be up in the front row when cliff sings "Build Me Up, Buttercup"!

BTW, we're up to 18M/9F. Awesome!!!

SERIOUSLY...

W.E.S.B. has the song pages we generally use at the Southern Style jams (look toward the bottom of the page). If you don't have the Southern Style tabs and the G8rBowl tabs, you'll spend a little time wondering why everybody but you has the same music to play.

Pick through the Otto songs too. I was enjoying Blue Bayou.

Uh oh... Time for an NRA membership drive. Oz banned firearms and now look! Bikers have become "Bikies" and they're into bubble gum music. Next comes Nerf footballs, AC/DC will get renamed Compact Flourescent, and Mad Max will settle down to being just a little miffed!
;)
Thanks for hosting this, Keith! It's gonna be GREAT! Autumn is the best time of the year, we'll be surrounded by some of the finest real estate in God's creation, and jamming with some of the coolest people on the planet. So far, it looks like I'll be solo this trip and arriving probably really late Friday night or Saturday morning. Can't wait to see everyone!

Otto

As you know, Otto, you're solo only until you get there.

In light of the FINISH CRACKS thread, is anyone of the attendees willing to demonstrate the 'super glue' remedy?

I can provide a grateful 'patient' if need be... no not me!

It's just a short little drive, at a great leaf looking time, why would they not want to come?

As it stands right now, it's may be a toss-up between NorthCarolina or Boulder, CO . . .
