For your 10k post you should finally unleash all the grand marketing plans that you've been suppressing.

Goals are important.
I just finished a three day golf tournament and really stunk it up out there. Gotta work on the game some more.
My goal is to be a single digit handicap and I'm 14 now. This applies to both golf and guitar.
Got some work to do on both to reach the single digits.
See you at the driving range....

I'll be the guy with the guitar sticking out of the bag.

It's just appropriate that #10,000 be about golf. That, guitars and breathing, what else is there????
Well, yeah, that too, so there are four important things in life.

Whew, I thought you were going to say you were going back to work or something.. Congrats on stinking it up out there. I had a day out with the wife and son at the golf course, and stunk it up as well. I used to be at single digit handicap, (golf) but not even close now.

Q: How can you tell when a Banjo Player's at your front door?

A: The knock'in keeps getting louder and faster and they don't know when to come in!

Beal, congrats on having enough 'relax time' in your retirement that you can waste some here. I'm honoured to 'know' you a little through this board.

We're a damn fine bunch and you're part of it.

"damn fine bunch"
Maybe that's debatable, maybe not.
I'll just say that I have not seen any other message or fanclub board that even comes close to what goes on here.

Happy 10k Bill.
I'll admit I had a faint hope that we'd hear that marketing rant. I guess a cooler head prevailed.

You know, when you think about the 10K milestone it is truly remarkable. Who would have thought six years ago that this liitle place would have come so far or touched so many people. But here we are. And Bill, you certainly have added a LOT to the mix here, and will continue to, but I've really enjoyed watching the metamorphasis from builder to true player. You're wearing butterfly wings well. The only downside for me is that you gave up talking about fins for SUVs. ;)
