I've been playing the fool to appreciative crowds for years......... at least I think that's how they show appreciation.

Apparently I'd be quite useful around here though, I used to be a plumber. Will now consult and supervise for beer. But you'll have to hold that leek for a year or two before you see me waaaaay over on the right coast for a get together.

Plumbing is one of those trades that I figured anyone can do. After laying under the cabin in a space too small for anything other than a porcupine in a mixture of rocks, sewage and porcupine quills, I decided that I don't want to be a plumber.

Three basic rules of plumbing:
1. Sh#t flows downhill
2. The boss is an S.O.B.
3. Payday's on Friday.

Anyone CAN do it..... :rolleyes:

Solids run down, gases flow up, payday's on Friday, don't lick your fingers.(What'choo talkin' 'bout TWA, my boss was great.....types fast too!)

There. Now you're a plumber too!
.......................................
Then there's this long list of rules and stuff they keep in a book called "The Building Code." But nevermind, I'm sure it'll work.

It didn't ask for musical talents. If that's what this was about, my mother thinks I have a nice voice.

I have an uncanny talent for believing I can do something around the house, and then spending twice the money, doing only half as good a job, in three times the time as if I'd called a pro.

Musically, I do a fair job doing improvised blues leads, and I'm trying to be a somewhat accomplished fingerstyle acoustic player

I play mostly lead rhythm 6-string, with some experience with writing/arranging. I've played a little with lead fills/electric, but nothing to brag about. I learned playing folk/fingerstyle, but REALLY need to freshen up on that a bit. As far as singing...let's just say I haven't been booed off the stage yet, but I've gotten close. :eek:

Someone should send me an FD-14 out of the goodness of their heart. :D

Non-musically, I tinker with a lot of projects that I'm not really good at. Davek, I COMPLETELY
understand - I redid my mother-in-law's basement, and what I thought would be a weekend project took three months...

I have a knack for overcommitting myself for way too many things, am really good with computers, take horrible pictures on a digital camera that I end up deleting, and spend too much time and money playing paintball, which is one of the few things I'm actually good at. Miss anything?

So it looks like if we put all of us together we'd get:
A bunch of half assed guitar players;
A bunch of half assed carpenters;
A bunch of less than half assed plumbers;
A bunch of half assed DIYers;
And some computer geeks.
Surely we have a whole ass in this bunch, or did I just volunteer?
