I've read about them but never actually seen or heard one in the flesh. Kim Keller has one and I belive Dadi used them extensively. Were they made in France?

It's hard to leave our "little cloud" and going back to the ground. We've had so much fun, friendship, music, emotions and ukulele ;) . I would not be surprised if some Ukes were bought in the following days in France... We were so impressed by Dave's performance with a Bruce Springsteen's song (I'm not joking). Everybody was listening silently and respectfully!! Like we says in France: "Nous aurions pu entendre le pet d'une mouche..." "you would be able to hear a fly's wind..." (I'm not sure of the English translation) :D :D Because I can't live without a project, my next one will be to be with you at the Factory Tour next year. Now I know that even if my English is not very good, it's good enough to communicate with you. Rendez-vous l'année prochaine!! You've got one year to learn some French words (only if you want)!! Jérôme :)

OVATION OWE JEROME BIGTIME.

That other site (ovation.com) is just the latest marketing. :) As always thanks! I don't think a week goes by that I don't check your site for something!

Jerome, you commented in your section of the French OFC gathering that the FD14 is "so amazing". What was it that you liked and how did it compare with the Adamii there? I also played U681T and A1 WN. (so cool saturday !!!! :D :D Like an Ovation Factory bis !! You could test every guitar you wish !!) I've loved playing with the FD14. The playability is fantastic : very smooth neck (with a U shape), the action is very low (Tom asked a professional to adjust it). The neck is larger than the standard (1"3/4 vs 1"11/16) which is very easy to play. It is the same with the #47RI : very very easy to play. On the sound side, the FD14 is very warm (cedar top) and very precise. The smallest touch you do is restitute by the guitar (like the #47RI). To finish, the look of this guitar is amazing : very pure and the tortle inlays are beautiful ! Definitly a great guitar !!! For somebody who has not the budget to buy a #47, it is THE guitar to go for !! My 2 cents ;)
