Dave said..
We're playing Brian T. and Slipkid's stage guitars (Legend LX and an AD2).
Stage guitar...
Stage guitar???
yeah.....Stage Guitar!!!!
I didn't even know I had a "stage guitar".
That's quite a nice little ego-boost at the end of a hard day.
BTW...I just wish a '47 was heading my way. They are awesome.

That's actually Brads ADII, not only a great stage guitar, but a great front porch guitar, and a great "play anytime you feel like it" guitar....

And yeah, stage guitar.... Brian and Brad are really coming together as a duo.

Yeah, I'll second that. These guys are good. I forget who it was but someone at the tour commented that in 2005 B&B pretty much sucked and they were not going to be invited back. But in 2006 they really brought the house down. Did someone really say this or did I just dream it. I forget. Anyway, they were REALLY good.

When they were practicing at the ski lodge they asked me if I wanted to join them on a few tunes.... I almost said yes, but then decided that they didn't need to be dragged down to my level.

Brad and Brian initiated a lot of group involvement by being prepared to launch a whole hit list of semi English-Invasion hits and "singable" classics from the 60's-90's.

I also found some quality time with Robbie "worshipleader" and found that his pile of song sheets was the same as mine.

Myth #1...Moody only knows 3 cowboy chords.
Myth #2...Moody can't carry a tune in a bucket.
.
Just from what I shot with my cam-corder, both of these myths will be BUSTED!!!
I'm looking forward to seeing all the performances again on the DVD.

The hype for this dvd is getting bigger than the next Harry Potter movie. Enquiring minds want a release date.

I watched the video clip again yesterday and marvelled at Moody's bongo-playing skills.

With your sense of rhythm, I'm amazed that you actually have kids . . .

Waskel put many hours into editing last years DVD. This year he set up multiple camera coverage for the ski lodge jam and linked right to the soundboard for the audio. It's gonna take time but it will be worth it.
.
And...this thread is coming dangerously close to becoming an unauthorized meeting of the M.K.A.S.
Let's be careful.

Hey Brad, is the ADII your only guitar? It's the only one I've seen you with. John <>{
BTW, enjoyed seeing you on the tour. Even though the kids gave me gas $, it still cost me $500 to make the trip. But all the fun we had made it worth every penny!

Same here John. I wish it lasted a day longer just to get a chance to spend more time with people.
My modest arsenal includes... The AD-II, Breadwinner, an old pre-electic Balladeer, a Trekker, and a uke.
Oh...can't forget the "Booted Celebrity and the Booted MOB.

Any others ???
Just out of curiosity, with the exception of Tony's #3 slipping through the cracks and landing at Okla Vintage Guitars, has ANYONE heard of ANY STORE other that Al's that has received shipment on these?

You guys from the tour said the factory was cranking out 3 or so a week yet no one seems to have seen any on the streets. Is all of the production going overseas?

Seems like some should have showed up by now.
