Ever wonder why people think a "white" acoustic looks gay but a "white" electric looks awesome? Here are a couple of my favorite electrics! ![]() I had a nice white Ovation for a while but sold it, not because of the color, but because it was a SSB and did nothing for me sound wise.. OH YEAH.....I did sell it to a girl!!!!!! :D ;)

Wish I had the ability to play as nice as some of the instruments I am fortunate enough to own. Also wish my damn left hand would heal up so I could play, period!!!!

Since the guitar is played by a queer woman, that's a bit of a double whammy. A lot of the acoustic-guitarist image is about being a manly master of your craft - associations with women and homosexuality don't help that much at all. Ever wonder why people think a "white" acoustic looks gay but a "white" electric looks awesome? That being said, I think it's the pearloid rosette that tips this particular guitar over the scale. It takes the white guitar, which clearly can be pulled off, and adds a feminine decoration to it. But for all my ranting, I wouldn't play one either. :D

As for using the correct words - I find people's tolerance and fear factor totally absurd. I'll spare the soapbox for this forum but if your interested you can see my posts at www.youaregoingtoburninhell.com I use the name Tupperw... well, you'll see.

The top one is a signature series. The one that I personally own is a spalted maple with 200 year old wood. It is customised with a RMC piezo system and a built in midi controller and wired for stereo. ![]() That white signature is still currently (I think) available at my local shop for a significant discount. The bottom one is my '55 vintage throwback. I always wanted the Strat-Tele sound but was not a fan of the Fender necks. This guitar does it all....both sounds plus a neck I love.
