Now, i don't agree with everyone saying Kid Rock, granted his old stuff should never have been made, his new album i have to admit is pretty good, the new single All Summer Long is not by any means the worlds greatest song, but its a whole lot better then anything off one of his previous records..

The concept of dreadlocks, tattoos and gangsta pants that don't fit... Total lack of talent! [and I actually like reggae, which that ain't even close] Yeah... We can add Li'l Wayne to this list.

I'm not a huge fan but coming from the rap culture he has really expanded music wise. IMO he has done a lot to bring back to the younger kids the sounds of guitars, drums, and a bass. You know, more like the stuff we used to listen to. Okay, so here I am, a 54 year old bald guy trying to defend someone who sings about bitches, whores, whiskey & cocaine. Strange. On the other side he is a local, (very local) guy done good who has not forgotten or forsaken his Michigan / Detroit / Mt Clemens roots. Now it's somebodys turn to drone on & on about how friggin' great Axel Rose is. Go ahead. I got it comin'.

Y'see, he started-out with that rap crap cuz it is simple, and any drunk kid can do it if he managed to do Nursery Rhymes in school. But might have actually met some Real Musicians along the way. Someone sold him a guitar, and he saw the error of his ways. Unfortunately, Rap-crap and scuz-bucket image sells nowadays, so he will continue to play what the corpo-rats tell him will make him money, But who knows? Maybe when he is at home he plays blues on his '59 Strat (or whatever else he decided to buy since he has more money than the Clintons)

When I'm saying "hate" I mean "real" hate, all the grundges I met in my life where morons, stupid and proud of their ignorance and stupidity. When they took over, after 1994, they started a politics of "ethnic cleansing" against those who played seriously guitar, and for at least 6 years I wasn't able to find anybody to play with because I was "uncool" to play properly and study music. I was in my late teens and it was really bad, I and other with my ideas (at that time I knew nobody, but later recalling those years I realized that I wasn't the only one with that problem) were treated like political dissidents in totalitarian regimes. Fortunately now grundge is dead but the damage they had done to the world of music lives again.

There are a lot of musicians that I don't like to listen to, but I don't hate them for their lack of taste or talent. I disliked disco, and really dislike rap. (Though if you're a fan of Flo Rida's Low you should check out this YouTube acoustic cover . There are a lot of musicians that I have lost respect for because of their excessive political preaching and inane political commentary.

Little River Band? even early Chicago?!?!?!" Ok.. Ok... Numerous bands named for places... And... Toby fu¢kin' Keith. What a complete and utter inbred-imbecilic-pop chart-media whore. I'd rather give Ed Asner a full "brazilian" than have to listen to Toby fiuckin' Kieth. Ew, I think that was a little vomit.
