Question this will be a 6 string guitar only? and I will assume they will make a very very limited number of these only? Will this be bassed on how many of us you can get to sign up for this? If so will you need a deposit? (and I certainly do not want to piss you off Al) but would it be possible to have an OFC Adamas Acoustic bass made in this production? Hate to ask questions like this in the last hour but I have been seriously considering having Ovation make me an Adamas Bass? We talked about this a while back. This would be the hook that will drag me in. If we are talking around $2000.00 a unit, and if we order 20 or 30, I am sure Ovation can make a few consessions? Right? OK now that you are perfectly pissed at me I would like to know if they could do a bass guitar--- could I get it in the older #7 color you know the Beige/blue not the white/blue? like my older 1688-7 is? Thanks Man I do know a little about heading up projects like this. I am sure there are others like me who would help you if we could? But your the guy for something like this! out of my league here Randy

Is 12 fret, 1-3/4 neck an option. If the answers are Left and Yes, then I'm IN depending on color (and price).

I was trying to say something you like to hear without giving more options, that's all. MTCW - I like the left slot head and the label is a great place to put Ovation Fan Club Member 2043 MWoody. Whatever the specialized style ends up it will say it was ours no matter what! I am entertaining thoughts of stringing mine .076 - .016 and picking it up at the OFC III. And, of course, it won't be complete unless it is autographed on the inside by MKB, AMP and CWK2 (the Ovation GAS trinity). Throw in two KK's and I'll have worse nut problems than Charlie B is having! :D

Pay no attention to my request, I should not expect Ovation (even though it is a good sum of money) to make a Bass guitar with the OFC logo? I see this guitar is going to be a slot head, if done, almost everything would be different on a bass. I just had a selfish thought to have a bass made with the OFC inlay? I will leave this post alone from now on Thanks and good luck with this project! I sure hope there are enough guy's to do this It will give me something to kick myself for not buying! Sorry Al Randy

You know, if these are going to be numbered (ie 1/15, 2/15, etc), the lowest numbers ought to go to those who have been the most active on the board, ie, the number of posts. Those with the most posts should get the lowest numbers.
