i carried a st. christopher medallion around for many years when i was in elementary and middle school. i was hoping for protection from all the chicano gang members that would beat us caucasians up on the way to and from school in LA county. it must have worked cuz i'm alive and typing this reply to you today, although, i was beaten up a few times.
nowadays, i realize i can go straight to the Source for protection and that i am a saint as much as christopher.
jim mentioned to me yesterday that you would not be able to make it. i was hoping you could cuz i was going to give you our supply of hand sanitizer. :D we'll probably catch you at next year's OFC tour though. |
