Pre-Revolution I heard a Polish witticism that went to the effect, "We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us."

from the post count on this thread it would appear that "nothing" is more interesting than everything else. "no-thing"...what a concept!

Quite sad really: Life is not about nothing folks...it's about Something: then it becomes truly worth living! The time and energy spent on Nothing could be put to use doing something for somebody.

Suppose now someone may suggest "we were asked not to post this"...but I hope not!
Blessings!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !!!!!!!

So what in the hell was this all about? Actually an interesting little study in human behaviour. The idea came to me via my new puppy. He doesn't know anything, doesn't speak english, etc. but he will mimic certain behaviour, given a predictable and repeatable response.

So, I asked myself "Could I get OFC members (who are basically a bunch of lemmings anyway) to follow a certain behaviour without actually having to direct them what to do?" My hope was that I could get 10 pages of responses to absolutely NOTHING. I would post nothing, and see if anyone would follow my lead. If people posted "something", like responses and cute little bullshit like we nornally do, I would ignore it. But if someone posted "nothing", then I would reward it by following up with "nothing". In the process, many of you figured out the technique to post "nothing".

So that's it. No big revelation or anything, other than exactly what I expected. Show someone the path and give positive feedback (even if "nothing") and they will follow.

Well done gentleman.

Dave

Cool experiment. But then, this is a curious & clever bunch.

{You're curious.

You're clever.

Over in the back, you're more curious than clever...}
