One of the founders of the League is a student of Tommy Emmanuel's and wrote a song for him titled "Tommy's Ramble", a not so subtle nod to TE's "Chet's Ramble", written for Chet Atkins a year after he passed away. At the last League meeting, the song was recorded. It's my pleasure to introduce you all to Loren Barrigar, a great guy who is also holder of the title youngest performer ever on the Grand Ole Opry stage (he was 9 and studying under Mr Atkins and Chet had him on) on "Tommy\'s Ramble" . Enjoy.

After all, he does these wonderful lectures for a living, doesn't he? I'll need to watch that one over and over for years to absorb and practise what he shares in 3/4 of an hour.

I've been strumming for 40 some odd years and know I will never even start to approach what he does. Very inspiring guy. I'm going to see if I can find some of his CD's today, altho I sure enjoy watching him perform on YouTube. He is entertaining to watch.

His right hand is interesting to watch. The drumming of the guitar body works for me, only on a limited basis. I appreciate the inovation, but too much of it loses its appeal. He does have very good playing ability.
