I don't think the attendee list is closed yet either, but it's getting close.

My apologies if I screwed anyone up on this. As it turns out, that is the weekend of my wife's birthday. I must have had a brain fart. I won't be able to make it, so I'm out.

You could still go and then get her a guitar for her birthday to make it up to her, right?

Just a suggestion.

Sorry ya can't make it TJ. My wife encouraged me to go even though it is our anniversary that weekend. If it was her birthday it would be a different outcome. Maybe the Tour?! Where's Al when ya need him?

Ok, it's final, I'm officially in. Check went in the mail yesterday. I had a week delay getting the dates set aside and some upheaval at work, but we're good to go now. I'm looking forward this event, meeting all the folks I've come to know on the board and seeing the crew from the Southern Jam. It will be a great time.

Booked my flights this weekend.
Damn! this is turning into an expensive proposition!!! . . .
Next time we plan something like this, we need to take into consideration the whole Flah/SpringBreak Factor. The airlines really "bang" ya'. . .

I spent 20 minutes on one of the online services searching flights, finally settled on something for $485. Enter in all the payment info and . . "Bing" :
". . We're Sorry, but this flight has "changed" . . $758!!! . . ." Happened twice.

Finally, I just did some researching directly with an airline, and nailed something for @$500 . . .

I had briefly contemplated DRIVING to/fro, but the addition time needed for travel would either cut into the time I spent THERE, or my time At Work, which would make things a bit "difficult".

If I were going, I'd bring a couple cases of Vernors.
If only I were going. :(

I brought some Vernors to Stonges' house at the last tour.
Did I start something??
In fact, I have a tall, iced glass of Vernors on my desk right now.

Vernors is the best ginger ale I've ever tasted, bar none! I can bring 2 ltr bottles, but it is better in cans.

I'll be driving, either coming through SC on I-26 to I-95 and south or down I-75 through Atlanta and across southern GA. There is maybe 30 minutes difference to go either way. If there is anyone along these routes that needs a ride, let me know. I'll be traveling on Thursday and Sunday.

26 to 95 is better. Take the second exit in Florida and go left for about 10 miles. At Center street go left down to 3rd, left again for half a block and stop in front of the Florida House.

Going 75 you got to go down to 10 and all the way back to Jax, then to 295 and 95 north and then up to the next to last exit
