Yes. Katie may be coming along and she'll do the workshop and the concert. I don't know for sure if she will be coming, I'll let you know as soon as I know.

Help! Is anyone who's coming knowledgeable about the inner workings of the old Vipers? My bridge pick-up has gone deaf, and is not picking up anything at all. (Most disconcerting, because I was half-thinking that maybe I'd like to sell it to an appreciative person...) If no one has any experience with them, I'll leave it home and try to find somone to tweak it after I get back...but if someone does, please, let me know...
I won't be bringing too big a selection--we're renting a sedan, not a semi.
5 more sleeps, and I leave for Ohio!!!! :D :D :D

Probably a mechanical issue with wiring or a switch. The selector switch may have failed, or a wire may have become broken or unsoldered from a connection.

Karen,

I'll have a multi-meter with me and can bring soldering equipment. If ya have room, bring the patient.

Like Steve said, it's more than likely an easy fix.

Geeze, by this time next week, I'll be a third of da way out yonder...

Thank you, Johnny; I'll be sure to bring the patient along.
Right now, I'll be bringing Gertrude, Betsy (the Patriot), and the Viper. If I can figure out how to bring Jewel, I will--but I'm not sure how "Ethel" will feel about shepherding all those cases in and out.....
4 more sleeps...Yippee!!!!!

Karen - if the pup turns out to be completely DOA, I'm pretty sure that I have a spare.

Maybe I should bring my Ultra GS and have you mechanics work on her. I won't be leaving till Friday of next week, but I'll be there the next day.

Johnny, I have a soldering iron and solder. I have a multi-meter around here SOMEWHERE too. (I can't find it though. I think I loaned it out. Now if I could only remember to WHOM!)

I carry a MM whenever I travel any distance. So, I'll have that 'covered'. Just hope we have time for troubleshooting!

I'll bring the iDea preamp, but would appreciate it if someone else brought one, too. Mine has a bunch of noise when record or playback is being used and I want to compare. It works well as a guitar preamp, but I have a bunch of those.
We're starting to figure out how to pack everything. I think I'll start with the guitar and then just work everything else in around it.

Must be the home email. SWMBO is probably busy censoring it now.

Resent to the 'ice cave'. You do have the decoder ring, right?

Jam Books are completed, but they're not perfect. I went through some of the songs I know last night and discovered a few inaccurate chords here and there on the charts, but its nothing we can't correct on the fly. Have your pencils out and at the ready.

Got it. I'm just bringing the iDea along separately. It doesn't take much room. I'll just have to remember to bring it back.
Barely got to 60 yesterday, but it's supposed to finally start hitting the 80s on a regular basis. Hope it moves over to the Black Hills by next week.

Sara has an iDea in her Red Flame. I'll try to remember to bring along the preamp.

Steve,

I emailed Mark that I have a new indabox iDea that I'll bring. So if you hadn't planned on bringing Sara's, we got it covered.

One day I'll decide which 'O' to put it in...

Anybody else getting jam antsy?

Well Johnny, since you asked, I have been following this Topic for a while and the closer you all get to this one the more antsy I am getting wishing I could be there, unfortunately, as some of you know, I can't do it right now.

I wish you all safe trips and tons of fun!!!
