I would not recommend going to one of their forums and start bragging on roundies, that would be in bad taste. The value placed on those old wooden axes does not mean anything, musically. A napkin signed by Picasso may be worth five thousand dollars, but it's not art! I've played Martins that sounded wonderful, but some were otherwise. Many guitar players on this forum tend to like Ovations, duh!

If you have some knowledge, experience or opinion to share, great! Share it. You obviously have some knowledge so feel free to add to conversations, not detract. Really - that should be simple enough for even you. If you just want to argue about how nobody here knows sh^t, find someplace else, wouldja? If everyone here has their head up their a$$hole, find someplace else that's more your intellectual level. I would suggest maybe Nickelodeon but the Martin site might be close enough.

They both share the same bithday-Jan 1st(what a coincident!)they both are from toneville(wherever THAT is...probably should be spelled "trollville")they both just recently joined the board(Aug & Oct '05)and they both like to use the "quote" button.(unable to think for themselves and have to use other's post to keep things stirred up) One would think that by the time you reach the ages of 70 and 79 years old(If they're REALLY that old)they would be offering up sage advice and interesting anecdotes(like Bailey :) ) instead of senile ramblings and thoughtless babbling......I'd be willing to bet(dollar to a donuthole) that "they" don't even OWN or have ever HELD a Martin guitar!!(probably have a Hondo that they taped a C.F.Martin decal to the peghead...Posers) My .02......BTW, You may QUOTE me!

Guys, if the troll bothers you it's easy to get rid of him, don't respond to him or his posts, at all. He only enjoys stirring up shit. Just ignore him. He'll get bored and bother somebody else. This guy sounds more like 16 than 70. When a guy has to tell you how good he is, it's often hard to find somebody who shares his opinion. How often does a 70 year old brag about how much he's gigging? And there are plenty of hacks with gigs. And I believe both our "friends" from toneville are the same guy too.

They're mesmerised by the happy glow that is the OFC, and can't help but crashing and burning right in the middle of the board. Reading the trolls' posts reminds me of a couple sayings my old man would trot out from time to time: He couldn't find his a$$ with both hands, a mirror and a copy of Gray's Anatomy. -and- He's so ignorant that he doesn't know if he's been punched, bored or reamed. Throw these two back, they're too small. ;)
