Another good topic idea! (JMO)

Improv/stand-up humour: It's practice and value for the performing musician.

Uh huh. After his set, Matt asked D'Banjo, Temp, Cliff, Beal and myself to come up and play with him. I was on bass, trying to keep up with him on some fast boogie number, just really focused. Somewhere in my hindbrain I hear "bass solo!", and everyone but Cliff stopped playing, and I mentally went "huh? What?!?".
I plinked 4 or 5 notes (none in the right key) before I remembered what I was doing and managed to get in a few licks by the end of the 12th bar...

Trust me; that's NOT a bad thing. There's some real good brews in that neck-of-the-woods.

Actually I think we have much better wines up here in the Valley. We just got home from an open house at Carpenter Creek here in Mount Vernon. Nice folks, great wines. There are several others. Not that I don't like the folks in Woodinville, but you can order that online anytime. The wines here in Skagit County, for the most part, you can only get here.

Ken and Sandy (who are also members here) along with Lisa will be able to point you all to the good wines, and I'm sure we will have a good assortment here at the house.

Hmmmmm, that's a topic. Matching wines to guitars. What tastes better while playing an Elite as opposed to an Adamas. Me... I'm a Vodka guy, which... goes best with a PF-22 and the amp cranked!!!!

Miles, it was a nice Bordeaux with the Folklore last night.

I think it'll be Crown and a Carvin today. Wanna trade a Crown guitar for a Vodka guitar? :D
