In the gathering section there's a pic of Beal's Collings SJ, held and played by Debanjo (Steve Sutton). One of the best guitars I've ever heard or played and probably at the top of my "To Buy Someday" list of wood box guitars.....

That SJ is very nice. Steve also loves the CJ which is rosewood. But there is just something special about a big maple guitar.

I REFUSED to pick that one up and play it.

The last thing I needed after my multiple C-10 binges was to play that maple SJ and start jonesing for one of those.

I am content to wait until October when the custom OM shows up.

This must be an awesome guitar, as I haven't read anything in it's regard. Anyone play it and anyone wish to comment? :)

Most comments are not repeatable for this forum.....and when you consider some of the stuff that Cliff and Jeff post up, that should tell you something.

Overall, I liked it but I did not see any loose rats to bash.

Phil, those kind of comments with photos attached are best posted in the "gatherings" section where they can be enjoyed for a long time!

This thread is too young to die!

Oh yeah...got a couple of the green LED tuners in today. Small, look cool, and they work!

I've seen professionals with bigger racks, but there's nothing wrong with that one.

I will not take a chance of missing out on this event because it was just too damn awesome.
