I broke an "E" string while tuning up and I called them about it and expressed concerns about the other 2 sets I had. They promptly sent me 3 new sets in the mail. I put the silver set on my Collings slothead dread and they look really cool. Currently have had blues on the Lowden S23C and the Tak EF75 and the Tak EF417 that Jeff is currently babysitting. The EF417 has had them on for about 6 months and Jeff said they still sound good. He will be in for a treat whenever he puts on a fresh set.

They work fine, but I really think you need a mag pickup in addition to a piezo for these things to show their full effect. Basically, the wound strings are alternating phosphor-bronze and steel windings. FWIW, I have been using the DR Sunbeams on my acoustics lately and I found them to be as good as any string I've ever tried.

You played a song a few times last week with the line, "tell'em what you want". Did you write that or is it an old tradtional? And, have you recorded that? And Dave... The Right Field song.. Do you have a write up on that??
