I didn't specify, so I assume I have a standard neck on the way.

Nope...I tired but was unsuccessful in getting an OFC guitar.

You mean you couldn't get one of the first 12?

At least they can still be ordered beyond the original 12 - they just won't have the same mojo :(

So, again I ask the question, who's in on the original 12?

You'd know by looking at your credit card bill. Wide neck was more expensive. Dave

I don't look at my credit card bills ... I get a clear understanding of the financial situation from the screaming and unkind references to my lineage that emanate from lady stonebobbo's bill-paying desk.

I am more than happy to take whatever shows up ... it'll be far more guitar than I'm worthy of, that's for sure.

I got the 12th, but mine will say it's the 11th because someone else wanted 12/12. Standard neck width. Al didn't ask, but I told him I didn't want the wide neck and he said he was relieved. I didn't want to push my luck with SWMBO by telling her to add to the bill. I figured that Stephen was the last fence straddler, but my wife told me I could have it for my birthday (April 11) and I didn't want the window of opportunity to close. She actually thought I had already ordered it and trashed Al's email in which he told me there was one left. I had some late night birthday shopping.

I wasn't fence straddling. I wanted a wide neck. Al felt that it would be a problem to get another wide neck (as one of the original 12) due to prior changes in his order.

Stephen, You'll be happier with the HD. You already have the 47RI so you know what that sounds like. The HD is in another league. Dave

I didn't think you were hesitant about buying guitars. Maybe I bumped someone else. I'm not sure the numbering will make any difference to me. Sure won't help me play better. Looks like you'll have a couple widenecks in Colorado. Glad it worked out.

Dave, a wide neck OFC is also spoken for me. Don't know the # yet.

So far seven people (inlcuding Al) came out as an OFC orderer, two of them ordered the wide neck option. Did I count right?

Al, if you are insinuating that I misrepresented what you told me, I will be happy to post your email.

If you were referring to someone else, my apologies.

Otherwise, you should chill.

Stephen, for the record I will post here exactly what I informed you re: the OFC guitar. The initial set of 12 numbered OFC packages are sold out. I will be happy to take orders for additional OFC-type packages that will not be numbered. I will be happy to order one in a standard neck or wide neck version for you, or anyone else who is interested

Al, Don't let your wings melt from flying to high!

I gave a nice reply and a peaceful exit.

Apparently, you feel the need to get in the last word and won't let it go.

For the record, should we also discuss the guitar I requested that you "refused to sell me"?

Your perogative but if you want to publicly open a potential can of worms, I have the opener.

You guys are ruining a really good thread. Both of you, take it somewhere else!

Ok, who else is in on the OFC guitar?
