Just for the record, on chords with a slash, I reserve the right to play the major chord without a slash.

Good song choices - I like both Shambala and Running On Empty. I'm with the good Captain... no slashes.

Trboy,

thanks for the info on the generator!

This will give us all the opportunity to hear our favorites through an amp and/or PA.

If it can't provide enough power we may have to do a few minor alterations. ARH..ARH..ARH..ARH (Tim the Toolman Taylor)

jim, chords written with a slash ex: D/F# or C/G, are specific to playing an alternate bass note with the chord. a C/G chord is sometimes called a "full C". you play a normal C but your ring finger goes to the low E (sixth)string at the third fret (it's a G note on the bass string, hence the C/G) and your pinky plays the fifth string 3rd fret.

Jason, when I first read your post about not making it, my first thought was "Let's wait 5 minutes and he'll work it out." I hope you can come.

And not to be outdone by Phil, You can room with me for free.

Randy/Jason,

I'm bringing the UTE and my 1537 and hopefully one more, plus a Tak '98 LTD that is being delivered to it's new owner during the Jam.

There should be plenty of guitars.

There's good reason to come right there. I've played a 1537, but never a Ute.

Come on down Jason, there will definately be more guitars than players. I will be bringing the four Ovations listed in my sig. From beater to Beauty.

Hope the tea leaves spell out ASHEVILLE for ya!

While we're on the subject, the NW guys said it and we found out at the SE gathering... bring all the guitar stands you have.

Good suggestion Captain!

If I haven't mentioned it before, the Gazebo, hereinafter to be known as THE STAGE, does not have any seats. There are picnic tables on the deck surrounding THE STAGE. Add seats of your choosing to the "Thangs Ta Brang" List.

I can bring a couple of those fold up soccer-mom chairs. Do we get the entire deck as well? With the picnic tables I'd bet we'll be fine.

We do get the deck as well as THE STAGE. I will be bringing at least two cars and can bring as many fold up chairs as will fit (after the O's of course). I can bring coolers too.

Randy and I are doing a trip there on the 5th to check things out. If it will not work then we will find somewhere, in the area, that will.
