Any need for another mic and mic stand???
It'll be mostly unplugged (no PA), but I can phantom power up to 4 mics (I have 3, but only 2 stands), run them thru my mixer and then into the Shen 100.

Everybody please bring one guitar stand for each guitar you bring. If you have a music stand that would help, too.

Gettin' excited!

That's right. The southern boys usually plug in at the Jamboree, and unplug at the rest. G8r and I tried playing plugged in on the porch at Smokies, but it was too darned cold.

I'll bring a couple of stands. Should be good, pick up Debanjo Friday night and head down Sat AM.
It's about a two, 2.5 hour drive, right Serge??

I know to be careful in Lawty, Stark and Waldo.

I'll bring the UTE, for comparison purposes with the 1680. I will also bring the 1681, we can compare it to whatever you'd like. ;)

Beal - should take 1-3/4 to 2 hr from FB. Starting from your place it might be easiest to just head south & take Heckscher to 9A north then 295 & you know the rest. Probably 6 of one, half-dozen of the other. 10-4 on those speed traps!

I'm going to try to get to Johnny's by 6ish, that means leaving my house by 4:30, (yes that's AM). Might be a little late. We should have about 3 hrs from his house or so. Just about the time you guys start waking up.

DING...!!!

Plan on taking off sometime Friday afternoon. Still working out some logistics as Kathy will be coming with me and I won't leave Chase with just anybody. :)
Plan to be there sometime Friday evening anyway. Gits are undecided yet. Maybe the 1687s, (the -9 is just back from Mom's), probably the 1885, and definitely an ugly duckling that just arrived this afternoon and which I have been working on tonight.

Yes! Even unplugged, when a whole room full of O's and A's gets jamming it gets kinda tough to sing above 'em without some kind of reinforcement.
I've got extra stands G8r and I'll throw the Peavey Escort in the truck for back-up, too.

Can't wait to see everyone!

Then there's that one dude who always brings a wood box guitar.

We should see about getting him an Ovation.
