Nope... in real life I'm not "that guy" at all.
When I go to Amelia I don't just go to play the guitar, I go to play.

Roomate Waskel & I touched on this subject but it really need to be discussed over a drink or two.

You were UNlucky, Stephen. Just ask the folks at my table. Because I was good-naturedly razzin' the chef for being Portuguese ("what the hell does a Portuguese know about making paella?") he gave us the caramelized rice from the bottom of the pot - which is the best part of the whole dish ;)

Ain't what ya know, it's who ya know ;) The flan was superb, just like Mom (may she rest in peace) used to make. Hmm, that'll be the featured dessert at the next G8rBowl!

Serge needs to hold a 'Serge Paella Workshop' at the next AI! He filled us in on the history and 'local' (in Spain) variations while he was filling up!

BTW, he did share the paella 'candy' and flan. In fact I finished off the 'candy' while Serge was razzing the cook... ;)

Nice of you to call Brad "balding", Stephen. Where on his head would you draw the line between balding and bald?

Isn't it amazing? A group of guys brought together by their love of Ovation and Adamii guitars and there's not a single one in any of the pictures....

If it's any consolation Matt used an 08 Collector for his Saturday night gig. But for us mere mortals the Takamine's seemed to be the tool of choice plugged in.

Like last year there was a ton in the workshop.
When at the venues we used what was provided.

True, oh so true! But regardless of our allegiances, the show must go on!

Come on, a Fender Tele...? :p

BTW, Cliff blew me away with his O'Kanes and BBQ performances. Think of Joe Crocker with a tonally controlled voice! Effing awesome...

Here's a highlight for me & Brian.
Playing in front of a crowd with Matt Smith.
In hindsite I've thought of a couple things I would have done different but it sure was fun.
StephenT was nice enough to help us out on the cahone(?). I remember counting the song off for Stephen. Then the next thing I knew I was sitting back down. I wonder how it turned out??

This about sums it up for me.
