"Is it possible to keep this as the "Main" OFC Page and then "Link" to the other for those that want to take advantage??" THAT IS THE PLAN!!! It's been posted several times, but to many the drama of assumption is more fun. I do need a clarification tho.. when you said "MAIN OFC Page" I assume you meant the main forums?? The "main" page has little on it but the entrance and a menu. Thanks Cliff for the well thought out post. I agree with ALL of it. MySpace and Facebook remind me of the early days of the internet when we all knew we had to have a page, no one knew why. The future, at least according to some experts is the ning-style network. Like Facebook, or MySpace but allowing indivuduals and groups to create their own space, for their own purpose. Bottom line... don't like it = don't use it do like it = do use it It's really that simple.

This way you could quickly identify people who have a particular model you are interested in. Obviously it would only include those who filled in the details. The photos section requires a lot of hacking through to find out what guitars someone has. What I'm thinking of would involve Miles creating a list of all model numbers (maybe along with a picture of each) and each member could tick a box 1) I have it 2) I had it or 3) I want it Somehow make it searchable so people who were desperate to buy could make tempting offers to people who weren't planning on selling but could be tempted.

It should be pretty easy for Miles to do as I'm a guy and there are only four colours. Red, Yellow, and Blue. Then I would be happy. Thank you. I just tested the search... WOW!!!! That is just too cool. If you're uploading pictures, I suggest you batch upload all like pictures together (example, all pics of a 1537) and use the "apply to all" checkbox of the batch uploader to give all of those pics the same tags. Ive tagged all the guitar pics I uploaded. If you go to the Photos section of the Social site and search for 1619, for example, all my 1619 pictures will show up.

But I did copy all my photos from this gallery, in case I had inadvertently lost them from my computer... (oh yeah, I just realized that some of them were from my Other computer, so that was a good thing) I especially wanted to save this photo... Never can tell when I might need these folks for my next Wedding! :p

I've gotta say, this system is good coz I can still check in at work and keep up with the forum goings on. Just have to do the fancy stuff from home.
