The price for exposure! Isn't it like 3%, $300?

And if you pay with PayPal double that.

What I thought was rather sureal was listing standard UPS ground when:
1 - It would be overnight expressed or picked up in person! Three days in a truck next to an engine block? I don't think so!

2 - for a $10K item just offer free shipping!

My gas tank was full and I was already checking mapquest for directions to Steve's house ...

On the bright side, upon my return home I would have probably fond that the locks had been changed and my guitars, wedding photos and dirty laundry were sitting out in the driveway.

At least the guitars wouldn't be smashed, or would they?

My guess is they'd start showing up on ebay within 36 hours...

Not if I got there first. I'd bring them back, steal all his pictures out of his gallery and rename something brilliant like Ovation/gallery.com. Might be tough to get that many on the airplane, though.

What would be missing - the guitars, the pics, or the laundry?

That's why I deleted the pics and laundry from the quote. Once the locks were changed he wouldn't know the guitars were missing until the semi that I'd have to hire to haul them to Boise was long gone. Dave must have a big driveway if all his guitars could fit in it. My wife was actually thinking about stopping by just to see the house where the guy who bid $10,000 for a guitar lives.
