To all who participated...
I was totally struck speechless when I realized that what I suspected to be a setup was in reality an astounding gift. When I was presented with the Koala and realized the true situation I literally could find no words to say (possibly the real motivation).
I have always been amazed by the kindness and generosity of members here, but I now have a new respect for this community, which is unlike any other I have been a member of.
As much as I have coveted (lusted) after this guitar, it is not about the guitar. It is about the incredible gift of friendship and 'kinship' I feel from so many of you.

Thank you so much.

Once you calm down, we'll post the terms and conditions. Jeff can tell you how long it took for the Wooden Roundback to get back to him. I'll bring a fresh battery and set of strings next time I'm in Portland.
And remember what Groucho (or was it Rodney) said about joining any club that would have him as a member.

Thanks, David. I guess I deserve that.
Sorry, I've been too busy to remember to bring my camera. It really has been a great time here. The classes have been awesome, the food has been great, the weather has been perfect, only thing lacking has been sleep.

Hello All...the pic's are still in my camera..which is in the back of my truck with the lock to my brand new Leer truck cap: frozen: won't open...getting WD-40 tomorrow and will post pic's as soon as I can get a minute or two to do so.
Let me say that Matt Smith is one of the most awesome bluesmen and guitar teachers I have ever known: simply incredible and a very humble and kind soul at that...We're not worthy! lol
Dinner tonite at the Crab Shack (wonderful) and then a great Jam session w/many participating: you had to be there....

Not at all, John. Just going for a few cheap laughs for those of us on the outside looking in.

Congrats on the wonderful gift! We look forward to seeing/hearing more about that and other happenings out there.

You wouldn't believe it, it's been snowing off and on here for several days. Officially the latest it's EVER snowed in Portland!

John, when I first heard about the "plan" a while ago, I knew it would be an emotional time. I just wish I could have been there to see it.

That being said, now if you would just please place the guitar in the case and mail it to me....
what,..they didn't tell you it's an interval ownership thing..?

Nicer bunch of guys? You are tearing down hard won reputations. Sure you don't want to rethink that statement? :)

Good on ya, Wabbit. Enjoy!

The rest of you guys down there...well I wish I was there.
