Peter Horton. Noone will know him outside of Germany/Austria, but everybody who knows Sigi Schwab will know him too. They had a hot duo in the eighties.

My favorite guitarist, Jimmy Page.
He plays a double neck O on the No Quarter DVD.

I think you'll find that the guitar in the picture is not an Ovation. Page had a couple of triple-necks built by Brit luthier Andy Manson, so it's likely one of those.

Master Manson also did a very nice small-bodied (smaller than a parlour) guitar for Ian Anderson.

Andy Manson is a real good guitar builder. Hugh Manson (his brother) is phenomenal.

Oh shit, I was going on memory (a very dangerous thing for me). I have to get that DVD. I haven't seen it in a while at any local stores. Well, in that case, Let me say Jim Croce--and his guitar player too {in case croce was mentioned} (don't know his name). I just saw a video on vh1 classics and they were both playing ovations.

My ADD is not getting worse! This quote is from some website discusing the No Quarted/Unledded show.
It says Page DID indeed play an Ovation Double neck.

"...guitars he used in Unledded: an Ovation 6/12 doubleneck; a custom-made acoustic tripleneck, which adds a mandolin to the mix; and several conventional six string acoustics."

And

From factbites.com

"Some of Jimmy Page's acoustic instruments include several Ovation guitars (including 2 Ovation Elite double neck acoustics), a Martin D-28 and a D-45, a Gibson J-200, a Gretsch 12 string guitar as well as mandolins (a Fender and a Gibson), a banjo and a harp guitar."

So, I again submit Jimmy Page as an Ovation player! It was an elite style, cherry colored with black around the edge as I recal.

Garth Brooks? That settles it, if that fat wanker plays one I'm selling all of mine. Guilt by association.
