I hope not. It's a pretty small room.

Gosh, Stephen... I'm only bringing one guitar. It's a king-sized bed.

I should probably start a new thread for this...but...

Lets talk guitars. What's everyone bringing?

The only Ovation I own is the Koala. I'll be bringing that, unless someone else brings one. In that case I may subject my self to the ridicule and shame that can only occur when you bring a Taylor to a Matt Smith clinic. It would be my pleasure to introduce you guys to the subtle features of the Taylor ("this flat area here is what we call the 'back'...")

We are still talking acoustic, right?

Either a 1651 Legend Ltd or a 1581 AdII, more likely the latter, unless I change my mind in the next six months.

Duly noted. That's 13 attendees and 7 rooms booked. I know Omaha was thinking about other rooms and Guitar Store Mike doesn't need one.

I have the Fernandina booked (someone beat me to the cheap one :p ).
I'm waiting on the aloha birthday boy to verify his attendance. Hopefully he can make it, otherwise I'll definitely need a roomy or the cost will be prohibitive for me.

Jeanette is still "on the fence" whether she'll be going or not, so I MAY be in the position t'share a room . . .

I'll know better at the end of the month when we go t'visit Uncah Beal, and Lorraine can convince her t'make the trip.

The nice thing about the Fernandina is that it's a suite. Don't have to share a 'room', just a bathroom.

For obvious reasons Dave is ineligible for this offer.
Sorry, Dave. Just can't afford the liability insurance.

Wabbit,Cliff,Randy,

I'll know by the end of the month if I'll be able to make it. If so, I'm definately interested in sharing a room.

Here is an update: it looks like the family is gonna opt out of the trip (really would not be much of a vacation for the wife with 2 small kids to look after) so I can offer for someone to share the Miami room with me...its upstairs and has its own bathroom. I am planning to come down Wednesday, play golf on Thursday, clinic Fri-Sun and return home...so four nights Wed - Sat. at the Inn.
Also I will have room for someone to ride with me to FLA. as well: we can share gas expenses.
Let me know (pm or email).

I'm really looking forward to this!

:D ;)

FWIW, I'm still trying to decide my exact plans.

I am thinking of flying into Atlanta on Monday or Tuesday. I've got a bunch of business contacts I should make in the greater Atlanta area that I've been putting off for years.

So, I'll rent a car and drive down probably on Thursday. If anyone wants to ride from Atlanta to Amelia Island, let me know. I'm sure I'll have plenty of room for one or two riders.

The big question is where to stay, and I won't know for sure until I find out if Angie is going to come along. If she falls through, I may see if I can bum cot space off of someone staying there. If she does come, we may find something off-property. Anyway, it should clear up in the next few weeks.

This should be some fun!

I just can't resist anymore. Count me in. Music has agreed to let me bunk with him and we will meet up and drive down together. My wife has allowed me to attend, the weekend of the clinic is our 28th anniversary. I wonder if she is trying to tell me something? Either way, ain't she GREAT!

I would like to request a seat on the back row if possible. It seems that the front row is already filled. The further away I am, the less likely that y'all will be confused by my confusion.

Can't wait! Checks in the mail in the morning.
