They all speak a few languages fluently. Usually one of them is English. Like I said... Blame it on the Education System.

A) We are required to post clips of our playing in order to qualify as legitimate members? B) We are required to contribute something deemed "worthy" by a panel of newcomers? Yeah, right.

They are just a sharing of tunes by our various members and regardless of quality they are all enjoyable and fun to listen to. If you haven't purchased the 1st couple, I think Miles or Dave might have a few available.

Check with Miles and maybe he still has some in the OFC Store. I'm busy right now with the CD for the Tak forum, but maybe after the holidays we can do another OFC one. HEY STEPHEN - SPEAKING OF CD ???

If it was, I probably wouldn't have participated and would still be stuck at the level I was when I joined--playing a couple of times a year. Don't ruin it for those of us who come here to meet some people who have similar interests and obtain a little inspiration and motivation once in awhile. Dobro's CD arrived Friday and I told SWMBO we should find out where he's playing next year when we're in Chicago. She was surprised that I knew someone who was a "professional". I told her I hung out with a bunch of people who were way better than me. I meant that in a very broad sense. I hope it stays that way.

It would be as fun to hear Dobro's, Lanakai's, or Dweezil's as it would to hear TUS's, Gallerinski's, Beals, g8r's, or Caravan's.

I have spent more time in Texas over the last 6 months than I had prior the last 15 years. I have the song written (and I personally love it) but have not gotten to do a decent recording of it yet.....just a scratch rhythm and vocal track. Hopefully your sliding deadline will still be in time for me to submit. I'll do my best.

The board was a good resource. Stephent28's post reminded me that he sent me the only decent tab of Time In a Bottle that I had seen until that time and also turned me onto Pete Huttlinger. I now have 3 of his dvds that I still haven't mastered. I've received and dished out my share of put downs, but for the most part, this board still is a good resource in addition to the entertainment aspect.
