Sorry guys. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the cwk2 thing, and can't help wondering if I'll post with a different attitude knowing THE GREAT ONE reads these. It's like you go thru your day, stop and say a prayer, then continue to go about your day. God may answer down the line, indirectly, or not, but he doesn't pop up right next to you when your finished. Picture this: You're home alone, and you turn on your computer so you can scan ebay for O's or read threads on the OFC. You "accidentally" stumble upon a porn site, and have every intention of moving on, but the eyebrows raise, and you look for 5 or 10 more seconds. Then you feel a tap on the shoulder and Jesus is standing there pointing his finger.."I see what you're doing, and I know what you're thinking, so don't try to think up some lame excuse..."

Trust me. He's a regular guy. So much so that I had to edit some of his comments out of last year's DVD. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Also happens to be pretty nice, for a regular guy.

...which brings me to this year's. I realize it's been 5 months, but for some reason this summer has been busier than any in recent memory (I have to rely on 'recent' memory because... well, you know...). I'm almost done with the Jam portion (most of the disk - 29 songs). The classes, lobby stuff and slideshow shouldn't take long compared to that. I'm trying to get it done, honest.
Thanks for your patience and ominous silence.

Actually, Waskel is the only OFC'er I felt the need to kiss up to. He gets to edit the DVD of the Tour! See prior post...

Of course he's a regular guy, he hangs out with Cliff.
He doesnt know me from a hole in the wall but talked to me like we knew each other.
I am very impressed at the simple fact that he is first and formost a guitar junkie just like us.

Soo... If I had something not so nice to say about one of his creations, I won't be smite from a lofty pearch over New Hartford? (an image comes to mind of some crazy guy in Bellview ranting about labels...and a calm voice of reason saying.."Dude, just get a hair dryer...")

No, he'd be more likely to tell you that you're entitled to your opinion.

..Also, I haven't met him yet, so imagination runs wild. Maybe at the next OFC factory tour, he'll drink too much and pee on my shoes. THEN I can stop calling him THE GREAT ONE, and start refering to him as cwk2.

There was only one GREAT ONE and Jackie Gleason is dead.

I don't drink, but Ckiff or Moody would be happy to pee on your shoes for you. They've had practice.

And the story really goes that you're at a porn house and waiting in line at the peep window, waiting for this guy in front of you to move so you get your turn, and when he finally moves you see that it's Hay-Sous himself and he gives you a "Whatchu lookin at?" look.

Bill, I can't believe you wouldn't be willing to pee on the poor guys shoes. You seem like such a generous sort.

You suppose Cliff wears those rubber shoes with all the holes in them because it's easier to clean the pee off them?
We've had a thread about Dave peeing in his pool and now we have one on peeing on shoes. No wonder I like this board.
So who is going to be the one to break the news to brainslag about Santa Claus?

I'll let him know that stonebobbo is really Bob Seger masquerading as a retired software developer.
