Correction, 1456cc engine (Toyota calls it 1500cc), can't leave til I get the A/C working, it has a faulty switch that the company has ceased making. Got to hit the junkyards, I have a '92 switch I can rewire and make work if I can't find one. My wife just had a very serious cataract removed from her right eye which was totally blind, each day she sees a little more, I'll leave for the factory tour when she starts reading those emails that some of those bluegrass groupies have sent. They have messages like "Your 1 mm mandolin pick shakes my 80 year old booty when you do Cripple Creek".

Come to think of it I may risk travelling without air conditioning if I get any more of those!!!

Come on all you fence sitters!
The Mothership has to have a idea of how many to plan for. If your thinking of not coming because you have a phobia about my uke, let me know. There is medication that can help.

The first year, we had about 38 people . . .

Last year, we had about 70 . . .

We've got 50 so far . . .

We should REALLY shoot for "100" this year . . . or be ashamed of ourselves . . . .

Unfortunately, we may not make it this year. Shannon wants to go to Puerto Vallarta (we can look up musicamex!).

I'm still trying to convince her we can do both.

BAD NEWS!! Looks Like I'm Not going to be able to make it. We had some unexpected expenses come up and there is no way I can afford the hotel or the Plane Trip this time. I guess there's always next year. Man, What a BUMMER!

If "IFS" and "ANDS" were pots and pans, the world would be a kitchen.

Al, are you getting paid per attendee or something?

:D

Alas, I will not be able to make it to the OFC Tour this year. =( If Brad sets up a Great Lakes jam, though.... :)

So . . . what happened to all of the people LAST YEAR who said they were "definitely" gonna make it "NEXT YEAR"???
THIS is "NextYear"!!
There was a whole year to plan and save . . . TWO years in some instances.

Ovation/Hamer has been quite generous to us, and in a lot of ways, our presence is a bit of an inconvenience for them as it DOES disrupt their daily routine/production . . . let alone the expense involved. . .

Did anybody ever consider that if there isn't a continued interest and/or participation, Ovation could very understandably say ". . Why Bother?? . .".

C'MON Guys! . . . . just DO it!!!!

nope I am not getting paid. In fact this thing usually winds up costing me money in some way or another.

I just want people to sign up and come to the tour. I was not a fan of the change to June but figure I need to do what I can to promote the event and make it a killer experience.

now unless you can get my contractor to come back to my garage project go away.

The biggest obstacle for my attendance this year was that it's on Father's Day weekend. The second biggest is that every weekend in June is already planned. =(
