Have not had more than a moment here and there to check out #82 since it followed me home. 1)Awesome looks!!!The Brazilian Rosewood on #82 is very dark. You have to hold it to the light just right to see the grain. Would have liked a little more light grain. Was surprised to see the headstock overlay is B/R...thought it would be ebony. The maple around the body is well figured, light and dark, but that around the neck, while still well figured, is lighter. The Abalone purfling is simply spectacular. I thought my CB was nicely done with Abalone (and it is), but nothing like this EF75J! 2)Sound/tone...AWESOME!!!!Rings like a bell on the high side :) and rumbles like a train on the low end :) !!!We plugged it in at the music store (I don't have an accoustic amp) ...HOLY SMOKES!!!WOW!!!...I could keep on going but you get the idea. You would think this guitar had been played for 20 years; like Stephen had said, I can't wait to hear what the years do to it. 3)Playability...very comfortable, I'm very pleased. My fingers are rather short and fat, and I was concerned about the wider neck, but I like it. 4) And now I guess it's my turn to say, "Bill it's all your fault!" And, "I would like the opportunity to some day thank you in person. But this will have to suffice for now. And,no, you weren't getting all wound up over imaginary things again!" :) But, I'm going to quit reading your posts; they are way too expensive! :) PBB, I guess you get the idea that I fell off the fence! :) Any sign of yours?
