My living room is kinda like that Cadillac Johnny Cash used to sing about--"one piece at a time" (the difference being mine is legitimately acquired.) :D --Karen

I guess you'll still have that in June for Southern Style III. I usually make fun of people who bring non-O's, but I'd make an exception for that dream machine. If I ever take better pix, I'll use them. But I like yours. I did give you props on the ning site, sorta.

I wound up selling the Ibanez AF85 that I had gotten a few months ago. Then a guy from Rapid City came in with another one to sell on consignment. Well the same guy who bought my Ibanez also bought this one. (He said he'd been looking for a guitar like that all his life and wanted a second one for a back-up.) So when the guy from Rapid came down to pick up his money, he also brought the Echotone. I bought it on the spot. It has a nice thin neck, beautiful tone, it's well balanced, and THIS one I'm going to keep. As most of you know, I can't post pictures, but it's a sunburst, and hasn't a mark on it. A good friend has a Conn C series from the sixties that he swears is the best guitar ever made. Supposedly it is an EXACT copy of a Gibson 335, right down to the pick-ups. Well, we did a side by side comparison, and the Hamer sounds better, at least to my ears. Merry Christmas to me. (And to all of you too!)

I think what I will get is another stomp box, like a compressor or an exciter and maybe one of those compilations from Dylan's radio show.
