I guess the recent poll that showed most of the pollsters were 40 or 50 something... Made the text extra L A R G E PRINT...

Actually, right now it's a tad bit harder to read. Now I have to sit back from my computer screen to comfortably read it. BTW I'm 30ish.

Not knowing where else to post my observations and in no way meaning it as negative critiscism here are my notes on the recent board changes.

* Larger font is OK, I didn't have an issue with the size before. I am nearsighted and use high resolutions on my screens so I like to cram as much as will fit in a screen. As a publisher of Newsletters and Safety Memos I got blasted if any of it went out smaller than 12 point - so I can live with it!

* I can post a reply , refresh the string, click out to the "Get Plugged in" and I will not see my post in the summary of posts. Seems to be a delay.

* In the Post summary screen I have about 1 1/2" gap following the words "General Posting" or "For Sale" which is wasted space. I cannot adjust the cell sizes.

* The "Directory" is cool and the enhanced search features are humungously cool!

* Can you support an area for Member Bios?

I adjusted the font size back. Was just doing what I was told.

The column widths I don't have control over. I submitted a trouble ticket to the authors.

I like the font size now but I realize I will be a minority. As the decision maker you are destined to be "wrong" quite often!

Thank you, Miles!

Hi,

Again I agree with MWoody. There is a way to change font size in your computer just don't ask me how. I did it once a long time ago and now in a senior moment I can't remember how and don't want to try to do it.

Why do they call them fonts any way???

To change font size --

In the menu bar click VIEW --
Then click TEXT SIZE --
Then choose what size you want. . .

Hey Gospel Giutar Guy... You asked what are fonts, a few clics back ???

"FONTS" are those things Ben Franklin and the Adams' bro's put their feather quils in to get ink... When they wrote the Declaration of no more dependancy on the Brit's...

The term "font" is derived from the same root as "found" as in "foundry". Back then, a separate font had to be carved and then cast for each size of type.

Some of the REALLY best jokes circulating through the Colonies started off with:

"You know you're a REDCOAT when . . . . . . "

Uncle Al,

Is your hip going out too?

When I find myself explaining my jokes and references to my kids it is a sad thing.

But when they start Playing Gwen Stephani doing a third time remake of something I heard when it came out, I feel much better!

Not too many people will get my Cheech & Chong allusions either.

I'll ask Mr. Natural or Devil Girl.

Sorry to hear about your hip, Al. :(
