Ok, for those of you in warmer climes, just move along and ignore this.

Today it got up to 66! It was the first night so far this year where I could actually sit on the front porch with an adult beverage and play my guitar. Of course, I picked the Elite. Nothing better than serenading the neighbors on a (relatively) warm evening.

It's soooo nice to have the windows open again. It's been too long.

Yup. I heard dat! It's yet to hit 60 here in Syracuse but we got close today! 58 and sunny - just great weather. It'll be beautiful soon though (at least that's what we keep telling each other).

Bill,
Does that mean the only sand and water you encountered were driving by the beaches and not into them!!

Went to Lake City to a nice little course and proceded to make it smell like a manure spreader on a hot july afternoon, But it was 85 and sunny with a nice breeze and I still won $2.00 from Sammy Breen, the golfing machine, so I have no complaints. Going to try again tomorrow.

It got to around 70 here today. In fact it's 10:29 pm EST and I still have the door and a few windows open airng out the old barn. I shot a baseball game this afternoon and it sure beats the basketball "Gym Tan" I acquired over the winter. As Stephen so eloquently expressed in another thread....HHHHOOOoooo HHHHHAAAaaaaa!!!!!

In France, still cold weather...
Around 55 in Paris...
In french we say "En avril ne te decouvre pas d'un fil".
It means : In April, don't leave your clothes.
Argh... we have to wait on month more before going out without a coat...

Dude,

The sun will be back in some weeks. I'm sure you know the "Parc Montsouris" in Paris.
The French "Central Park" (but much smaller... :D ).
It will be great to make a "pique nique" with friends and playing guitar together!!!
It's my favorite place in Paris as you can see.
A very good occasion to have a great lunch, to talk about our Ovation, drinking some good wine and have a good day!!!
These good moments are so rare....

If anybody want to join us from anywhere, you always be welcome...
Paris is surely one of the greatest city in the world...

Hey paulmac....I'm looking at the picture above and a question comes to mind. When you play Beatle songs, to you sing in French or English?

In "Frenglish" of course!!! :D

Something like that:
"Au secour", i need somebody, "au secour", not just anybody, "au secour", you know i need someone "au secouuuuur".....
If the Beatles were French, they surely have not made the same career....

And when you're singing "my way", do you sing in French or in English???

The original title is "comme d'habitude"...
Surely one of the greatest french song by Frank Sinatra!!! (lolll)
I just regret one thing. Sinatra is not playing Ovation guitars...
But i really love Frank's songs.

I've got a very nice French accent when I speak in English... Very useful with the foreign girls in Paris...

It's not one of the greatest cities in the world - it's THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD.

Not like a Frenchman to be so modest.

I spent time in Paris in 1985. Wonderful city! The young women all wore thin t shirts and no bras. Looked real good, but the unshaved pits kinda ruined the overall effect.

The Effiel Towner looked very nice, but needed to be shaved as well.

The unfortunate habit of some French ladies failing to shave their armpits.

You have never lived until on a hot summer day a waitress with longer hair under her arms than on her head leans across you to put a plate on the table.

Ok,

I understand well now :D
Of course, i've got a lot of humour!!!
But you can believe in me.
Since 1985, we have made a lot of effort!!
The civilization is arrived in France and now, we have discover the razor...
And a lot of other great things like TV, fridge, cars, computers etc...
And Mac Donald's food of course :p (joke)

And the Eiffel Tower is washed and razed every day now... ;)
