New Adamas Website typo: Impregnated Ebony Fretboard --- NOT!

Joined: May 2003 Posts: 4389 Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Just read on the adamas website that the walnut fretboards that apparently come on all adamas are impregnated with resin. Now, I know that's a typo because my W597-MEWP has an ebony fretboard and most of the other current production models I've seen are ebony. What I was wondering was: Are the ebony fretboards impregnated with resin or are they native. I'm guessing that they are simply lightly coated with mineral oil, or some deriviative thereof. Any info, much appreciated | ||

But then again I noticed that the picture of the MEWP-II in the timeline is upside down. Oh boy, I know they hate me now, but I really do love the Adamas guitar. | ||
