I was talking to Rick Hall and he asked me to find out about gathering information about original Adamas slothead owners.
The idea is to bring everyone back to the factory with their guitar for a day and have all of these wonderful instruments back to kick off the launch of the #47 reissue.
If you have an interest in participating in this event please contact me at alpep@aol.com. Rick threw "August" around as a tenative time and sorry none of the details are worked out at this time.
If anyone can help me locate slothead owners please contact me.
thanks for your help!!!

Isn't there some law prohibiting all original slotheads from being at the same place at the same time? Doesn't one have to be ensconced in cave or flying about in an undisclosed pattern??

cwk2,
Pick me up on the way...

I'll hafta see if there are any antique tractor shows or "plow day" going on in the area during that timeframe since I'm into "old iron" too!

Almost forgot... I now have a NOS case cover for my slothead. Very nice!!

It is kinda funny since none of them were made in that factory. They were all made in Moosup on the third flood. So that being said maybe the more important aspect is that there are so many of them together at this point these mannnny years later. Does New England work this summer?

Add 2 verses at 4/4 with a little slide intro and break out and you too could have a number one hit!

This week most of my major tasks have gone from bad to worse. Today is Friday and I am going on vacation for a week.

A little R&R and R&B maybe?

A gathering of the Slotheads would be a great Documentary! Just don't call on Geraldo!
