It looks like a Legend 1867, sunburst.

Great guitar. ;)

Why, if I amy be so bold as to ask, would anyone be doing research on Denny Laine?

Looks like a fairly recent picture. It's good to see he's seems to be an O user.

Of course Wings were big time endorsee's in the 70's and Denny had that beautiful beige Adamas slothead (probably my favorite looking O).

Yeah, richardd...that slothead was absolutely beautiful. Would love to have one like that!

Well know I know that Ovation still have the ability to make one, maybe one day I'll ask'em how much.

I have a number of old Wings video clips from the late 70's and Denny plays that slothead in quite a few.He was obviously quite taken with that guitar at that time.

You guys want a slothead, look for the #47 recreation and the OFC guitar.

True.

The #47 and OFC are already on the maybe list but beige would be the ultimate for me.

Come on Guys

Old number 47 is in this months "Guitar Player" ads, get out your check books, or in the case of Moodypi, twist the arms of your perps to save their unwholesome butts.

Ads in "Guitar Player" wow!

Of course our news stands get the mag about 2 months after the release date.

I wonder why they're pushing #47 so early when I thought it wasn't avaliable until the last quarter of 2005.

OK clowns. I was doing research on Denny Laine because I am going to see the Moody Blues the 18th. I know he's not touring with them and all, but I was just curious if he was still ... well... around.

Cmon Guys Give Hizz a break! For what it's worth and this is just my opinion Denny Laine is very talented and equally underarated. His work with Wings produced some very decent tunes .His lead vocals on the Wings over America Tour and the official release of that tour is one of my favorites.

Oh, I agree, Steve. Laine is an under-rated writer and guitarist. We can only imagine where the Moodies would have gone had he stayed on.
