I would have bought it myself (it's on my short list), but I've gotta keep my powder dry for the OFC'er. You coming to the gathering next week? We'll discuss shipping later. I gotta go see about drilling air holes in the 10 gallon drum.

I wish all 50 of these beauties could find their way into OFC members homes. Slowly but surely we are cornering the market :D Man....now you gotta find something else in my collection to lust over (maybe the '87 collectors..what a beaut!)

I wanted the #47 but, with the Uterus, I can't believe #47 will sound any better or appreciably different. and at the Hotel Catlett Mountain, you can check-in any time you like but, you may never leave. Stephen. I'm really sorry I wasn't able to steal your FD 14. I might just do it for posterity. And Thanks. I got these custom strings from England that I know will make mine sound better than yours... unless of course I'm the one playing it.

I am starting to feel the same way about #47 and the OFC guitar. Still have several months to think about it but it will be hard to surpass the FD14 and U681T.

Once the newness wears off a better tonal evaluation can be made. Beautiful sunburst, basically mint (for a 18+ year old git) less a few cracks on the binding that can be seen but not felt and a few very minor marks on top that can only be seen in the proper light and angle. Slight mar on side of headstock but overall excellent/pristine condition.
