For those who did not follow the orginal thread, there are some samples from Wakels CD in the thread titled "Give a listen...Home recordings"

Schroeder, I told you not to write a long, drawn-out review! Keep it short, I said, and to the point.

Figures, this time you listen...

:D Thanks for the kind words, fellows. Schroed, thanks for being my first international sale!

Great. Now he's an International Recording Artist.

Look out for Neverland II.... (he already thinks he's a rabbit and his skin is suspiciously pale)

If you lived in Oregon, your skin would be pale, too. Almost as bad as England.

Great job hiding the ears.

That is a sweet looking guitar.

Got the reworked DVD. Thanks for spending the time scrubbing it up.

Yes, it is sweet. The looks, the feel, the sound.
No trouble on the video. I hope it's an improvement over the original. Sorry you couldn't make it up to VT.

I was SO close to making it happen. I'm so glad ya'll had a blast.

on that Koa top...I just wanna hear it. I can't believe it would sound as good as cedar or spruce (acoustically). I have never heard a Koa top that I didn't think was lacking in tone or volume.

Convince me.

Seriously, I don't remember the guitar feeling that small. Perhaps it's just the perspective of the photo.
Yeah, it's a strawberry. There were probably GB's around, I was too busy looking at guitars.

It is a fact that all good guitar players have a beard.

I'll leave you and Bongo Boy to ponder that fact.
Together.
In the moonlight.
In Vermont.

Spycam?

That is terrifyingly close to the truth. Mrs S. oftimes asks "can I sit and listen to you practise, my love? And may I hold your music awhile? Perchance thou desirest another Guinness from the larder?"

And you managed to get both our good sides. She hates it when the camera catches her wart. I tell her it's just the one and not to worry. A big one I know, but girls are so sensitive.

Temp had a beard. Sounds like sh*t since he shaved it. He used to be really good.

Hmmm. There might be something to this. I guess I'll have to look at Kaki's video again.
Didn't see a beard, but if you guys are right...

I keep it close. Just enough to avoid having to shave more than my Adam's apple. I compensate for my poor playing by changing guitars often! Something I picked up from... well, you know who you are.

Waskel - That Koa elite - It looks awesome, did it have a lot of voices that called out to you as well? Any chance they could make it in a 12 string and put a bunch of Abalone around the edges?
