I try and always put it at the same spot, about 3/4 but if I am off just a little bit, it makes a huge difference in sound. I am trying to figure out how I can set it consitantly. So when we practice and then play Sunday it is the same. This past week I was off to the soft side and I couldn't be heard. I knew I should have turned it up, but go into worship and didn't. Since I am the Worship Leader, the others need to hear me to follow. I hear that Ovation is coming out with one that can replace this one. Not sure if it is out or not. Or how crazy the price will be. Anybody her about this?

I leave mine smack dab center, and make the sound boy work for me. But Dave will probably tell us it's all in our minds...

With that one the first half of the slider range is "0" and the last half is wide open. Most frustrating thing I have ever used. Thank God for Budny and company. Slapped an OP-Pro and the OPP in my Elite-T and the difference is amazing. I never realized how much the thinline pickup "quacks"!
