I continue to advance at my own pace with whatever amount of talent I have been blessed with. But when it come down to it, I'm just happy to be here.

One thing I'm thankful for, at least, is that I can carry a tune when I sing and be able to play a song in its entirety, so I guess that can compensate for the sub-standard guitar work.

Sometimes they sound good other times they don't. :D I figure that finger will have to get tougher eventually. Been working on "Wonderful Tonight". First time for bending notes. It isn't working very well at this time. :(

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 2791 Location: Atlanta, GA. | I was always told to place your thumb on the back of the neck, not to roll it over the top... guess I don't follow directions very well. I'm doing OK on basic open chords, except for C. My wrist just doesn't want to twist in that direction (and fat fingers don't help)!!! I have noticed that I sound better (to me) on the Adamas and Custom Legend than on my Celebrity CC11. Go figure.
