Can anyone think of any songs about women (their empowerment, strength, etc) preferably sung by women that might be appropriate? I need three of four for the time allotted. (And I absolutely cannot wait for the responses here)

He was asking me about Alanis Morristte but I told him that might want to be very careful with her material. Strong? Sure, but I'm not sure I would call it empowering. But that might also be somewhat of a biased view. What are your thoughts on Alanis, P?

A guy in the next room in my college dorm used to play it over and over and sing to it. I finally silenced him by turning my speakers to the wall and wailing on my old Univox electric every time he played it.
