I use "Off The Walls" but AL sells some that swivel out that OFC members all rave about.

Check with AL.

I put a nail in the wall and use Levy's little straps from the D and G keys and hang them that way.

Used String Swings, changed to Hercules - they have a slick mechanism that locks the guitar in so it doesn't fall out ... :( ... which is why I switched - don't ask, it is too painful.

I love the hercules hangers. The only drawback is they don't work well when a capo is on the first or second fret. Not a problem for Al! I know I'm not suposed to leave a capo on but my Martin 12 lives with it's capo on.

Unfortunately, Hercules suck for ukuleles. I use them (and like them a lot) for guitars. Both wall hangers and floor stands. But for the ukes I have to use the Swing Things because you can bend the arms nice and narrow for the skinny little uke necks. Dave

I see guitars on walls in stores all the time, but I need mine on the floor. I'd never sleep with my guitars hanging from the walls.

Wow! Thank you very much for the responses. I'm gonna try an Hercules since it looks like it's what's the best out there.

@ Mr Alpep: i am going to try to send you an email to figure out how i can buy stuff from you. Please let me know if you don't get it, because i have sent you a few email regarding that ovation dobro you have on your website without response. I didn't want to bug or anything so i went and baught Stephen T's sknakeskin Thunderbolt.

Thank you very much for the help.

Ced

PS: I haven't slept with a guitar since i got maried, 2 years ago. But i do wake up in the middle of the night from time to time and go spend a few minutes with my ladies while the wife is sleeping. Don't tell her if you ever meet her. ;0)

Privacy filter set too high? I have that problem. I check the spam folder, from time-to-time, and sometimes find otherwise important messages there.

"I would like to find a good, strong one that's gonna break..ect", said, Ced. I would not recommend a hanger that's gonna break, even if it's a good, strong one. HaHa. You can buy a piece of 1/2" dowel, and a piece of wood, and make one pretty easily, otherwise, probably any commercially availible hanger would suffice. Good Luck, Buck
