POTENTIAL SENTIMENTALITY ALERT ...WARNING The one thing, maybe the ONLY thing I miss from the east coast, and I say this from the bottom of my heart (or the pit of my stomach) are the trips with Alpep to the Columbus Ohio Guitar Show. Among the worlds problems that we solved along that 6 hour ride (6 from the time he picked me up en route), some may not know that one could argue that at least one was also created that we are proud of, namely the OvationFanClub.com. The show is a fun show, with lots of good folks who I will miss also. Seeing Paul and the gang with Reaganomics, the occasional appearance from Kim Keller, and rest of the Hamer gang and more, are all great memories. But truly, spending 12 hours in a weekend, maybe only once a year, with one of your best friends, ignoring cell calls, listening to the GPS do it's "off route - recalculating", eating fine Denny's cuisine, and talking about everything, especially music and guitars, is an event that I looked forward to each winter and spring I could make it. ==== I NOW RETURN YOU TO OUR NORMALLY SCHEDULED RANTS ===

One the bright side we are still big 10 champs. The guitar show, glad I checked in the OFC to see what's going on because I had no idea about the show. I might go, it's kind of a long drive.....at least 4 miles away. Al, are you setting up a dealer table?? Anyone think there will be an Adamas 2080 there? -Adam

Topic of conversation: He needed me to "settle" a discussion that he and Sue were having regarding details of specific MontyPython skit. Flying Lesson It is indeed gratifying that I can be called upon to bring to an end such earth-shattering dilemmas . . .

I guess I could go around asking venders Monty Python questions and see who answers. Just got out of praise band managed to wrap my foot in the cord and fling my guitar across the stage during communion. It was my best Pete Townsend imitation Steve

Fun to see what old Gibsons are worth. Got to get my high school j-45 on ebay. It is a pick of crap but these guys seem to get excited about them. Church guitar ok, just the b string out of tune.
